Bledisloe Cup New Zealand v Australia live stream: How to watch game one
Nearly a year has passed since New Zealand and Australia last played Test rugby, the All Blacks finishing third at last year’s World Cup and the Wallabies bowing out a couple of weeks earlier following a quarter-final defeat by England.
Now international rugby is back on the agenda, with back-to-back Bledisloe Cup fixtures in New Zealand over the next two weeks. The All Blacks have dominated these fixtures for the last two decades, with the Wallabies aiming to get their hands on the Bledisloe Cup for the first time since 2002.
Both countries have had a coaching change since the World Cup – Ian Foster has taken the All Blacks reins while Dave Rennie is now in charge of the Wallabies – and there is a real mix of the old and the new in the two teams selected for game one of the 2020 Bledisloe Cup series on Sunday (kick-off 4am UK & Ireland time).
Foster has named three uncapped players on the bench – Caleb Clarke, Hoskins Sotutu and Tupou Vaa’i – while Richie Mo’unga is selected at fly-half ahead of Beauden Barrett, who will start at full-back.
Jordie Barrett is on the wing while Rieko Ioane starts at outside-centre in the team captained by Sam Cane.
Wallabies captain Michael Hooper will win his 100th cap in Wellington, while there are three debutants in the line-up too – Harry Wilson, Hunter Paisami and Filipo Daugunu.
James O’Connor starts at fly-half for Australia for the first time since 2013 and has the experienced Matt To’omua and Nic White either side of him.

Replacements: Dane Coles, Karl Tu’inukuafe, Nepo Laulala, Tupou Vaa’i, Hoskins Sotutu, TJ Perenara, Anton Lienert-Brown, Caleb Clarke.
